Wednesday 9. 11. 2011 (updated 1. December 2011 - 11:40)The last IED blast faded away slowly, the last grain of rice was eaten up and there is no left over of Afghan tea in the kettle. The last student stepped into the trap of mine field and the last cartridge went off while the coalition forces liberated hostages.
The last NATO Civilians Pre-deployment Course organized in 2011 finished.
A Tiny Anniversary May 2011

May 2011 - 9:41)On the 11th of April 2007 the first participants of the “NATO Civilian Pre-Deployment Course” stepped for the first time on to the ground at Vyškov Garrison. 22 members from various NATO headquarters and agencies, 22 students from different countries in Europe and North America commenced a new type of course at the Military Academy in Vyškov. The participants of the course underwent a block of introductory lessons, instruction and practical training that was necessary for the safe and successful deployment to NATO missions and operations all over the world.

Wednesday 30. 3. 2011In the same way we expect the first messengers of the spring we were expecting the first participants of the NATO pre-deployment course 2011. In the term of March 16 till March 22 38 members of NATO agencies and commands participated in Training Command – Military Academy Vyškov in lessons and training that can be useful for them during deployment abroad.
A New Year - A New Training Preparation

After a short break during winter the Special Preparation Courses Section of the Training Department of the Training Command – Military Academy is fully busy with 2011 NATO Civilians Pre-deployment courses preparation.
Programme for 2010 completed (Joining Instruction 2011)
Tuesday 16. 11. 2010 (updated 18. November 2010 - 15:01)On 27th October 2010 when 37 participants left the gate of Vyskov Military Compound we completed the programme for 2010. Total 171 NATO civilians were trained this year. Fourth season of pre-deployment training in Vyskov was quite specific one. In April we nearly had to cancel the session due to air traffic problems caused by volcano cloud. In September some of participants had difficulties to arrive to Vyskov due to strikes at some airports.

We also learned that the Meeting Point pillar at the airport is now all covered with different adverts. Please note that it is located right opposite the Coffee Heaven (Terminal 2).

Course No 13 – Mission Completed
Monday 2. 11. 2009 (updated 2. November 2009 - 8:57)On 20 October 2009 31 graduates took over their certificates – proof of successful completion of the NATO Civilians Pre-Deployment Course, run number 13. The certificates were handed to them by Commander, Training Command – Military Academy Vyskov, Colonel Jaromir Zuna, and Assistant Secretary General – Executive Management Mr. Douglas Dempster.

Tuesday 14. 4. 2009 (updated 22. June 2010 - 7:44)To all those who plan to use our coach from the Prague airport to Vyskov – please note that the Meeting Point is located inside the airport block near the corner between terminals 2 a 1, closer to T 2. The coach departs the airport at 11:00 hrs. We are happy to wait for delayed flights for maximum 30 minutes. Those participants who come later, can either book themselves a rental car or use the bus line from the airport to Brno (Student Agency for instance) and we will arrange for pick up from Brno.
